At a recent Electrical retailing awards ceremony, at the Commonwealth Club in London , Ailsa Redford Managing Partner of HOSIES of Broughty Ferry scooped the prestigious award for "Best Accessories Display"
The awards aim to raise store standards, while recognising the efforts of the UK's electrical retailing industry.
Ailsa explained " I went down to London on Wednesday with our daughter Sara , to attend the awards ceremony. We were both absolutely delighted to recieve the award. Our store is very unique in the way that our products are displayed, we have a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with eye catching window displays. Our store has been described as an Electrical boutique. Displays are so important, and it is wonderful that all our hard work has been recognised through our trade!"
The Retailer Awards were sponsored by Sony.
Steve Dowdle, managing director of Sony UK, told the invited guests: "Sony is proud to sponsor the Retailer Awards at the inaugural ERT Industry Awards.
